Which is the same thing you said when I was working on mine at Woollyal, even though other posters confirmed it was working.
That's weird. Maybe it shows up for some people and not for others.

Check to see if you accidentally hit something when you were pasting the url. I sometimes do that

I'm directly uploading it. When I go to change avatar it doesn't give me an option to do a direct link through something like Photobucket.
Give me your password and I'll upload it for you.
Imgur is better than photobucket. Try that one instead.
Also try resizing it... if the avatar doesn't fit, you must omit.

Even if I use imgur, there is nowhere to add an avatar via direct link. Only options it has are choosing a file from the computer, gravatar, and one of the default avatars you can select from.
