| FTBL Offensive line still a big concern for Tide

One day in my lifetime (hopefully sooner than later) I'm going to wake up and not have to worry about the offensive line. :?

maybe as soon as next season, so long as the book store doesn't screw things up again.

with the incoming recruits we will have and virtually everyone back on the OL, and another year in Saban's/Applewhite's system, the offense can only improve.

i swear though, someone has GOT to put Andre Smith on a diet! his performance this season has gone down as his weight has gone up!

I don't think Capps is that bad. He was just never taught correctly. His hands gave away pass/run protection depending on his finger pressure on the turf. Now, I don't think he'll be great, but we have some good guys working with him, and do you think Saban would let him smell the field if he didn't think the guy had some game?

Also, Andre Smith Jr. has lost weight, at least that's what was said after the 4th quarter program.

I don't want to rain down on CC. That said, it sounds like Saban doesn't have much of a choice with two OL's gone from the book problem, and two more dealing with injuries.

Matt Caddel went from goat to a reliable stud. Hopefully Chris can make that jump as well.
