You're right

I'm not really saying I personally care what they think; I just find it all rather odd just for the sake of observation.

The media acts like we play in the Alabama High School Athletic Association; instead of the NCAA.

If we win, it will take care of itself, but it does make you curious about the media "cold shoulder"...

Last year, the #1 and #2 teams lost seven times in November alone. We went into a very tough environment today and won. You can't measure the additional emotion that 'the Saban issue' brought to that home crowd today. LSU played lights out.

The media apparently cannot comprehend intangibles.
