Pretty ridiculous that the start time is so late. It’s nice that some Mobile/Eastern Shore fans will get a chance to see them in person… but a lot more would have with a 6 or 7 pm tip (including more kids).

They schedule the game at 9 pm to accommodate a MACtion game that airs before it, and don't take into account that it is a MACtion game that takes 5 hours to play, so the first half of the basketball game won't be on ESPNU anyway. ESPN doing ESPN things. So fire up ESPN+ if you have it...

Anyway, starting 5 for Bama... Sears, Burnett, Clowney, Miller, & Bediako

Sounds like Quinnerly may get a few minutes depending on how the game goes. If not tonight, then Friday.

Well this is the offense Oats has and it will always be up and down. It is what it is. Not sure why that suprises Oats. Fortunatley they have been an offensive rebounding machine tonight othewise this would have been a disaster game.

Good news is, defense through 3 games is much better this year. When the offense is cold, that will keep them in games. I do think there will be some struggles early on this year as they gel. The carelessness with the basketball needs to get cleaned up sooner rather than later though.
