💬 Nick Saban’s Retirement Adventures…

Us Bama fans have been fortunate to have two of the best to ever do it walk the sidelines for the good guys. Been fortunate to watch both with their two decades of owning college football. 40ish years of being the king for the most part. Of course there was a down year or two but those two tenures had Bama more than relevant.

Congratulations Coach Saban....

I would like to know when Nick Saban retired? I know the dated he said he was stepping down for coaching at Bama. But to dates, I not seen him retried. I see him on TV doing something on ESPN, doing Duck Ads, with Deon, I do like his one on Vero, him in the hot tub with the couple renting his house.

Isn't she the one that Kiffen slid into her DM's on IG?

It was good, but there was really nothing that he hasn't said before.

Agreed. If you follow Bama as closes as most of us on here the past 17 years, we have heard most of these stories before. I remember him saying he should have never left LSU. (thank God he did). I think he would still be coaching if the NCAA had not gone full retard on the transfer portal. I think CNS could have handled the money situation just fine, it is the re-recruitment process and the way it is the wild wild west with folks jumping ship every time they get butt-hurt.

It's gonna be pretty rare at this point to get anything out of Saban in these interviews that he hasn't said before. Best chance is gonna be with someone else shares a story that we haven't heard and Saban reacts. I do think he will eventually put out another book and hopefully hat will have some good stuff in it.

I think if he could do podcast/video feed of plays the 2 or 3 explosive plays that he coached Vs certain teams as well as his response to those teams plays, that'd be really cool. Especially if he could get competitors to chat with him. Ton's of history there. If him & Urban Meyer did something with those 2008 & 2009 SECCG thats must see TV. I'd clear my whole day for that.

Good interview. One thing that he had said was how hard the last year was but I do not recall him implying maybe the coaching staff was not as good as he had in the past. Good story on the him with Channing I believe saying Miss Terry would be happier if he would cover the back out of the backfield on 3rd down. He followed that by saying well you have to get of the field on 3rd down. The tidbit about the text from Bellicheck was new. I knew Bellicheck always talks highly of CNS but seems like he views him as a person in a league of his own.

Good stuff.
