🏈 Needing advice from locals of B'ham and Tuscaloosa

I'm coming up from Florida for the game, and I'm staying in B'ham. I heard the game day traffic is bad flowing from B'ham. How early should I leave before kick off?

why not leave early and enjoy the festivities on the quad prior to kickoff? should be a good time. I wished I could make it. RTR

No less than 3 hours before kickoff if you want to park within a mile or so of the stadium. Earlier if you want to hang around and tailgate, etc. before the game.

In Vestavia at my girlfriend's brother's house. Yea I want to hang at the quad for a bit prior but I wondered how long of a drive I should expect. Appreciate the info!

If you take Exit 100 off of I 20/59, you should make it somewhere between 1 and 1 1/2 hours. Traffic on the late games tends to trickle in throughout the day. The major congestion will be after the game on the way out of town.

I would drive down to I 65 in Hoover,go south to 459 west, take I 20/59 south/west to Tuscaloosa exit at Mcfarland Blvd turn right on Mcfarland go to 15th {or any street to left after 15th} turn left go to 10th ave turn right, Bryant Denny dead ahead, parking on right.

It would be better to take exit #71 north and then exit off at 35th St/10th Ave. Take a left at the light and that will run you directly into the stadium.
