BATON ROUGE – LSU will once again unveil and promote its 2017 football signees on billboards in areas across Louisiana and other key cities in the region to celebrate National Signing Day, which takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
If a school can't publically comment on a recruit until they've signed when can these billboards be put up? I'm
assuming tomorrow at the earliest.

According to a tweet from the school’s football account, the billboards will run through Feb. 5.
So, four, five days at the max (unless no one buys that space.) Seems like a waste of money to me. If some of these only run for four or five days what kind of reach are they really getting for upcoming classes?
**Just as a side note: Bama has placed billboards in other cities as well. I recall back in 2013 there were several around Houston. The difference between UA's billboards and LSU's? Alabama was promoting successful Alumni, not some kid that just signed a letter of intent.**
