I believe they will enroll in the 2nd half of spring semester.

So do they get to participate in all of spring practice, 1/2 of spring practice or none of spring practice? I guess that getting a jump on academics is significant, but I would guess there would be additional advantages other than academic schedule preferences.

Wright and McKinney are supposed to enroll on Feb 13th, before spring practice. Once they have gone to class they can practice. Anyway, that's the way it sounds.

The latest on an expected Alabama early enrollee who hasn't enrolled ...

Splitting hairs here, but it's the springs second semester. (IE: Spring II)

.

They'll be in class the first day. With A-day slated for April 22nd, it looks like they'll have at least a month in class, and the weight room, before hitting the practice fields.

On Ruggs, FSU made up a lot ground on Bama this past month. After the visit this weekend and the offer to his little brother certainly helped Bama. Nothing earth shattering, just wanted to share what I'm hearing around Montgomery.

1) He's not a defensive lineman so don't fret folks. :naughtydevil:

On a serious note, he's told the staff--very recently--that he's planning on coming to Tuscaloosa. This morning there's a little uncertainty (for lack of a better expression.) I don't see a reason to be freakin' out. It's very possible he's got a case of nerves.

It's a big decision for any kid. While I hope he chooses Bama, I pray he makes the best decision for himself, ya know?

This time of the year I don't envy any coach that's waiting on Weds. Over the last few days I've seen the "feelings" towards Solomon be very high at one minute, then a few hours later very cold.

I swear half the people I communicate with think Bama vs UGA. The other half think Bama vs Michigan. A few, very few, think UGA vs Michigan.

This morning the feel I get is one of the lower ones. A few are now thinking Michigan.

Seems like a good day to go hit some golf balls.
