You're missing out. Much better than American football.
I’ve tried it and my son plays. But watching the pros roll around on the ground and squirm like they had their foot cut off, only to be healed by a quick spray of WD-Jesus and jump up and never even limp, just turned me off. Especially after a reply would show the player often didn’t even get touched or at most got their foot simply stepped on.

In my sons U12 league one team has 2 players that do this. They want to be just like the pros. The refs have finally caught on and have given them yellow cards on some occasions. The kids’ parents have been livid. Lol I hate that crap, just ruins the entertainment and competition for me. I want sport, not theatre.

The Brazilian influence (flopping) has gotten out of hand, but I still prefer it to American football.

The NFL and now NIL have all but ruined American football for me. I keep up with Bama, and that's about it.

Not sure about "abacus" but..
@252BAMA & @Sid Youngleman were at bama in 61....they well were born in 41....
As to being a fan as tender age...i dont know...but if their first words were rolltide...( or any other words) ...
Have to give them #14 ( whether its recognized outside of ttown or not)
Yeah, I am at 14. Didn't realize '61 was not included in the 12 when I posted 13. And although I don't think Bama should recognize '41, I understand Houlgate's thinking. That was a helluva win over aTm in the Cotton Bowl. They (aTm) had lost but two games in three years.

10 for me but i really only remember 8. The others i was young and didn’t really care about sports at the time.

My pawpaw never watched a full game. I remember he’d have the game on the radio and would have mawmaw ring the bell when the 4th quarter started. He always said we’re a 4th quarter team.

I think maybe the farm demanded he kept on top of things and just would sacrifice for the his responsibilities for that short period of time. Then it was back to work. Truly our best generation.
