A win is a WIN... Did we make some mistakes? Sure we did...Perfection is wonderful in a perfect world but not reality. This is exactly the game that I expected and why I was so concerned...I always thought we would win...but KY would be there and ready to play. For us as fans to expect from our team what we saw during the first half of the GA game in each and ever quarter in every game is crazy. As a player, its impossible to maintain that level of mental and physical play...which by the way can wear on a player pretty quick. IMO this game will make us stronger and better prepare us for our remaining schedule...Our boys know that victories are earned and that they can easily go the other way when you dont play up to your ability. Its a good time for an off week and some rest as Saban stated. As far as Im concerned, (from a fan standpoint) this is a gravy season so far...I certainly did not expect us to play this well..so for me this year has in alot of ways greatly exceeded my expectations...We are watching champions in the making...from week to week..not necessarily just relating to football either...they are learning alot about themselves in ways they never knew I suspect...Sabans whole approach to football and the way the boys are supposed to conduct themselves off the field and in the classroom is IMO priceless...and one heck of a character builder.

Roll Tide :)

Nice post Southern Bama and I agree. The one of many things I love about out team is CLASS. Yes, CLASS,we don't act like RETARDS when we score, or like this weekend cry like a baby when calls don't go our way.

For exmaple how many seen Juilo give the ball to the REF after his 2nd blown call. He hands the ball to the ref and JOGS to the huddle ready for the next play. Or when we score no chest beating, pointing up in the air, give the ball to the ref and act like you've been there before.

Yea that's class in my book. A fine example of just how good CNS is and how far our team has come.

Yes sir Optimus....I agree with the "having class"...I think there was another pretty good coach in Tuscaloosa that always said "Show your class" As for Julio...hes way ahead in the maturity aspect of the game...and you are right about the call...and him handing the ref the ball...how many players do you think would have done that?? Not many Id say....

Actually I have seen some chest beating and pointing up after some TD's this year. Julio, Coffee, Ingram,...

I dont have problem with those simple gestures as much as some other "celebrations" I see from other teams. The Bama players typically are pretty tame when it comes to scoring celebrations.
