💬 Now that our football season is over?

My plans:

Spend a lot of time with my grandson spoiling the heck out of him. Also working on a recording project of instrumental music, several of which I wrote. Have several regional gigs planned throughout the year and will go to several music events as usual. I also teach locally as a hobbie which I will continue spending time doing. Of course I will watch Bama sports, mainly Bama Basketball. Will keep an eye on what CKD is doing to see if he has a clue as to how to fix the issues (I am doubtful and have had my doubts going back to losses as double digit favorites last year).

Wife needs a knee replacement so that is likely in the plans. Talking spring time but nothing definite because she is not looking forward to going through it but she needs it.

Oh and last I saw I am still not retired so will have to keep doing my part in the work force. Will keep evaluating the 401k and stock market to see if I can retire closer to year one in my self proclaimed one to four year retirement window.

Good luck on her knee replacement.... did that ...was some of worse months of current time in life..... i worked really hard at rehabbing...100% now...
I would have to really be in major pain ( again) to do again...
Gonna take a lot of patience and good nursing

I'm gonna avoid Jack's for a while. If I see the ad for the Deboer-Bbq bacon burger..... I'm gonna lose it.

I almost went in a couple of months ago (after the barn fired freeze) to ask if they still had the Hugh-normous burger!!

My friend had both of them done. He told me he heard a lot of people getting one done and not the other just because of the rehab.

Talked to a few that did both at once...getting it over.... was so much ...with one.
I spent years in woods ...as a forester...put some wear...and years on bball court...but then stepped going to barn and twisted my left into mush....pain was awful...
Tried shots...brace...nothing worked...but today...bouncing baby boy again

Do I recall you saying you had been married something like 5 times in one post? If so maybe you just need to do the opposite of what you think you should do . Many other ways I could go with this but will refrain for now .

Enjoy with the grandkids. Best thing our daughter even did was give us grandkids! That was until our oldest granddaughter gave us four great-grandkids. To this day April and I haven't gone anywhere together. For a long time without family.

We get the hell outta dodge and away from them...they have key to house....the pool is available...there is beer n DPs in frig......steaks n burgers in freezer...have all they want
Crusing down no where highway in RV. .... stopping in strange places...eating at strange places...butttttt....just us 2.....fun.

Before she could get out of her seat, GGD started to laughing. From that day till now all four of them will try and trick April in one way or another.

On to basketball and baseball. We have one more trip to auburn in February (for the basketball game against them) and then....we don't have to worry about going there again for about a year. They come to Tuscaloosa for the second (regular season) basketball game in March and then baseball and football vs them are in T Town this year. So....that's a plus. At any rate, I don't want to see this football team again until September. I have never cared about the A day game and that's not changing this year. After this past football season, I am ready for some different sports entirely
