I love Alabama basketball and CAJ. But there are problems on his team. Lack of fire in his players, some older players are passive and should be more agressive in leadership for the younger players. I believe poor free throw shooting has affected some of their confidence shooting from the floor. We have been shooting a lot of bricks lately. They don't seem to value the ball every possesion, too many turnovers. They sometimes seem to get lost on defense, and fail to cover wide open jump shooters camped at the 3 point line. It also looks like most of the time, blocking out to gain position for rebounding is a thing from the past. Several of the players try too hard, try to be better than their talent will allow, when they should play within their limit and let the game come to them, so to speak. And we can always blame the refs but several players are making too many lazy or silly fouls and ending up in foul trouble annd sitting the bench. That's all of my 3 cents.

Hard to guard and shoot over a guy with a seven foot damn nine wingspan.
Quite frankly, I don't see very many people taking into account exactly who Bama played last night.

I held out hope they'd be having a hard time scoring based on the last two games and that Andrew Jones was out for the game. He, along with Bamba, were the two 5 star players on their roster. Jones was considered the 29th best player in his class, Bamba the 3rd best in his class.

If you look at their roster you'll see everyone there was a top 100 player with these exceptions: Young was rated #106 in his class and Osetkowski was a steal they pulled as a transfer from Tulane.

Dude didn't Texas literally JUST limp their way to a one-point win over Tennessee... State?

With two starters out as I recall and that's not taking into account the talent they have. It isn't football. Conferences and their teams really don't factor in that often.

Have you looked at the roster at TX? Their recruiting? Bama has one top class. TX has back to back to back to back...

Seriously bird., can you tell me what a Tier 1 win is in the eyes of the committee?

Depends on whether its a home, road or netural game. I think home game is a win against a #1-20 in RPI, road is a win against #1-60 or something like that and neutral is a win against #1-55.
