Smart move.
And I've seen folks compare the 2 investigations (or whatever you want to call it), but there are some differences. auburn's was pretty well thought out, planned in advance. It was set up from the start to never be able to be proven. This Manziel autograph thing doesn't seem to be that way. Looks like he was just approached one evening at an airport and things quickly unfolded. I mean he sat there and let a dude take a photo of him signing stuff? And for anyone giving him the benefit of the doubt, would any of you sit down and sign 1000 pieces of anything while taking time away from a trip to Miami, FL without compensation?
One of the things that sounds like could lead to his downfall is this "Uncle Nate" character. First the guy sounds like a scumbag (and reading/lookin at his twitter/instagram he is most certainly a douchebag at the very least) but now a broker has come out and the guy (who is Manziel's "personal assistant" or something to that affect) told the broker that Manziel would no longer be signing anything for him WITHOUT compensation in the future.
