I've watched their film. Defensively they can generate a pretty consistent pass rush and get after the quarterback. They'll probably show Ty all sorts of looks presnap, blitz wise and coverage wise. Ty has to do a good job of reading it presnap and diagnosing it down as the play progresses. He can't get fooled by what he's seeing, it they're going to tear him up. Our line has to do a good job of pass protection for you to even have a chance to have a good game. Georgia loves to stunt their D-line, and their ILB's when they draw up a blitz. Our line has to do their assignments correctly and not allow them to get a free runner to Ty because they messed up. We've got to be disciplined.
Offensively they're gonna try to establish their run game early and set the tone. We've got to be Gap sound, and physical when fitting our runs and taking on blockers. If we can't at least slow them down running the ball, that opens up sooooo much for their offense to do against us. That is pivotal if we're gonna win this game. And do not discount Stocktons ability to throw the ball, he made some incredible throws against Tennessee that helped them win that game. He can make almost any throw on that field he needs to make, and he takes care of the football while doing so. There's also the challenge of containing in that pocket and not allowing him to make plays with his feet. If we overrun our lanes and lose contain, he will eat Alabama alive. Whenever I can, I'll post film and go into more detail about the game coming up. But just know fellas, from what I've seen so far watching both of these teams film. I'm worried.
