Though off subject of Alabama Football, the same people are on every board and more people look at this one so I thought I might as well post this here.
What is LSU looking like this year? It seems like, from just looking at their roster and such, they should only have gotten better from last year. They return the two QBs who should both improve, WRs, ect. So what are the thoughts on them? And I guess furthermore, to me, LSU seems like the biggest and most legitimate threat to Alabama in the West this year but it doesn't seem like they're being talked about much. So???

lsu will be loaded this year..

they also have their own version of cam newton coming from juco.. he was origionally from georgia..

he is a pro style pocket qb.. big guy with a huge arm.. had some kind of sex assualt charge and got booted, then he won the juco national title..

if he comes through then lsu might be for real..

they have recruited on par with alabama for a decade now..


as it stands though, i have zero faith in lsu's coaching staff or their 2 starting qb's from last year.

An LSU buddy of mine is really excited. As he paints it they are loaded with talent and experience and have the choice of a two-year starter at QB or the "sky's the limit" JUCO QB filling in what may have been the one thing holding them back. But that's an LSU fan's assessment.

My thought is that they will be good enough to be a contender. In SEC terms that means that they should be considered among the teams that have a real shot at winning the conference, and if they do will have the talent to bring home another mythical national title.

Its a good thing this year's Bama/LSU game is in Tuscaloosa.
