For discussion sake let's say we lose to Georgia Do you think at that point it would be best to plug in Blake Barnett and let him take his lumps the rest of this season so if he is to be QB next season he won't have too?

If we keep winning I say don't play him. But if we lose another one and we still have a four or five games left in the season. I see no reason not to give him the reigns for the rest of the season.

I get it. I expect to beat Georgia and expect to be 4-1 after that game as well. I also expected to be 3-0 going into this weekend as well. But that didn't happen. For discussions sake if by chance we don't win the UGA game do we need to plug in Barnett for the rest of the season and basically "break him in" this season so we can he the ground running next season?

I wonder how the narrative is going to change, both here and nationally, when we beat UGA and LSU by a combined 40 points.

If you are curious as to who I'm concerned about, it is the team that spent money on a new DC in the off season and is getting it's money's worth.

They're doing okay. I thought they would have beaten Nevada a lot worse than they did.

If you bring him in to early and let him take his lumps, you could mess him up for the future. It appears he needs a year in the weight room before being subjected to SEC defensive lines on a weekly basis. In addition to the possibility of physical injury, it can mess with a player mentally if you try to bring him in before he is ready.

Be patient. The sky has not fallen yet.
