I used to play trumpet as well, I was the 1st chair trumpet player in the all-county band , but I think that was just a few years ago compared to you CrimsonPirate

The last I heard was that they were looking into moving the Corky Kell Classic HS games to another weekend to accommodate the BAMA vs Clemson game.

My last serious trumpet playing was in 1961 when I graduated from Lanett High. I did do an 8-week stint in the Lackland AFB Drum & Bugle Corps in 1967.

My last serious gig will be the bowl game this year We are doing the Senior Bowl later on, but I wouldn't consider it serious.
