Thompson speaks about leaving Tuscaloosa, and better opportunities.

One of my favorites right here;
"I just wanted to make a job change. I was entitled to do that. But obviously, a lot of people didn't understand why. I understand them being frustrated or hurt. In the long run, I think they will appreciate the job I did there and the kids I signed there at Alabama, because I signed some damn good players there."

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I aint studying Lance Thompson, and I have not missed him, or lost sleep since the day he left Tuscaloosa. I think I'll be able to get passed it.

Thompson Speaks About Leaving

I do remember the hand wringing, vividly.

I kept my stance of "we can get a better on the field coach" which was countered by "what about recruiting."

That was not only answered, but answered loudly with the addition of Sunseri. Ol' Willis is holding his own down in Mobile as well.

Lance quote, or at least the article I saw in the news forum a few minutes ago was along the lines of him thinking he was the #1 enemy.

I see he's still got a high opinion of himself.

I wonder what that idiot will say when CNS and his staff now whoop the Viles at recruitting? He might have had his hand in some of the recruits we have coming in, but they aren't coming because of him or they would've followed him to The Beacon. He is high on himself. I do know one thing there Lancy boy...I promise none of us miss you.

RTR,
Cory

.

That's exactly what I was about to write.

I told you guys about how he walked on the charter. He acted like me and the other flight attendants were all about him. Trust me Lance when I say I was much more interested in talking to Kevin Steele and Jim McElwain than you. I was more interested in the guys unloading the bags in TCL than you.

Where was it that he was coaching before CNS gave him his break, Central Florida?

What did the list of kids he signed there look like? 'Cause it would have to be on par with Bama lest people suggest that CNS and the University of Freakin' Alabama had something to do with it.

Must be something in the water (sewers) in K'vile......none of the coaches can seem to keep their moufs shet :no-no:, ESPECIALLY Lanie......err Lance. This is what Bama & the Gators is gonna do to the big urnge :fight:until they look like this :dazed: & eventually :bow:kneel to their masters!! :nana:

He's just a classic D-bag. He actually believes people miss him and some care enough to hate him. I haven't heard anyone say a thing about the guy, hell now that we know how he really is...I'm sure every Bama fan is glad to see him on the other side of the fence.

I'm betting, as a Mom, this would send you through the roof.

Oh, I don't mind it so much if it's warranted. Let's face it. Some are more blessed than others, and I can appreciate that.;) The thing I've noticed lately is that many men that appear to have huge egos also appear to have NO reason to have huge egos.

I have a feeling (if all that has been said about Lance is true) that he thought he was quite marketable. I'm sure his money and status as an Alabama coach had nothing to do with it.... I'm sure it was all about his hot body and his remarkable ability to stay in shape and keep himself so sexy....:lance:.

Lance Thompson should be licking my .........boots.

In all seriousness, I could not care less what that sphincter mouth thinks or says. Coach Saban gave him a break and taught him the ropes. Now he thinks he is God's gift to the SEC.

He could not be more wrong.

talk about not getting it. I think anyone would understand taking a job for double the money. I can (eventually) overlook going to a rival. The main problem I have is going back on your word, and talking out of the side of your mouth. If you can't distinquish the two, I don't see how you can ever hope to be sucsessful.
