This guy might be the sleeper in the bunch. It's been a while (last year) since we had a guy who explodes like Drake. One step and he's GONE! Looking forward to seeing a lot more of #17.

He made a very impressive stop and go move against Arkansas. He has quietly prepared himself to play, without the fanfare of some of our other backs.

Is he just a freshman? That guy is pretty good, would like for him to get more of a role with our backs and share the carries with Yeldon and Lacy...Dee Hart is going to have to step up

3.3 yards a carry is not to bad for Dee Hart plus he has been making plays on special teams

Yes, true freshman, played at Hillgrove High School which is adjacent to my sons' high school, Kennesaw Mountain. He runs well, fights well between the tackles. He should gain some weight before next season and will be a contender for serious playing time next year, if not this year.

Does anyone think, at some point this year, we'll see Lacy line up in a two back set where Fowler was playing with Yeldon at tailback? Just thinking.

That juke he put on the safety was NASTY, kid is really explosive and I think hes gonna be a good one. Blake Sims in the read option was really impressive in general. That Wildcat could be a true weapon for us.

I believe CNS attempted to quell some enthusiasm last week when reporters asked about KD. He said he needed to do more than just run with the ball. I think we will see he roll expand during the season as his grasp for blitz pick up improves. He is a very impressive runner though. I would say a cross between Bobby Humphrey and Shaun Alexander. He just glides along. As for Dee, most of his carries have been behind the 2nd line. Against Arky, he did get some carries behind the 1s and you saw his avg rise.

Love Kenyan Drake, he's precious. I know, I know. Not many on here would say that :smile:, but he's just such a nice young man. He found out my son plays for Brookwood and reminded me that Brookwood beat Hillgrove his junior year in the semi finals I believe. Anyway, he was brought up right.
