It was our worst loss since 2003 when we lost to a Nick Saban coached LSU team 27-3 at home. Last night was Saban's second worst defeat in his coaching career. His worst was a loss to a us in 2002 when we beat LSU 31-0 in Baton Rouge. It makes me sick to even say this one. But last night also marked the first time we were held scoreless in the 2nd half since the 2007 loss to ULM. This one hurts way worse than the loss to Clemson two years ago. This team was far and away better than the 2016 team. Better than last season's team too. But....onward and upward. Next time we take the field (A-day notwithstanding) we are gonna be in Mercedes Benz Stadium ready to annihilate Duke.

i said that last night

i'd much rather lose a shootout than to get our asses handed to us like last night. in a shootout, at least we showed up and played well enough to keep it close.

but....a win is a win and a loss is a loss

i've moved on and will just look forward to A-Day in the spring

LOS lost both ways... I was surprised at that. I knew we were beat up on the DL but wow... They picked up the blitz very well almost every time and their QB had a Garcia game. NO way to win against that.

Those 4th down attempts just wreaked of desperation. Clemson knew it and devoured us. I have not seen such poor O line play by us since the time the barn sacked Brodie all those times way back in 2005. In each of our last two losses (the barn last year and then last night) we looked very Shula-esque
