The score was 34-3, which looks to me like a good-old fashioned tail kickin'. Nevertheless, both of these teams have coaches that WILL MAKE THEIR SEASON to beat Alabama. Every single week, we get the absolute best from our rivals.

It was 13-3 in the 4th before UT returned a couple of picks for scores that made the game look one sided.

After watching the game, I'm not worried about MSU at all. This team couldn't score even if their offense was playing 11 on 1 against the defense.

UT looks like a team that could be decent if they would turn Stevens loose and stop being so conservative.
I think we can count on the Viles to throw the playbook at us next week (both pages) and turn Stevens loose. that game will be a true test for our team. if we let them hang around, we'll get our butts handed to us in a bag.

There isn't anything to support that statement.

They are in for a world of hurt if they play Saturday like they did yesterday. We can come out with the most conservative game plan we could muster and they'll struggle.

Longest drive for a TD yesterday came in a short field situation. (53 yards)

We certainly have the better team, and the better coaching staff for that matter. The only thing that worries me about this game (and I'm not that worried) is that we are playing in Neyland, which is a tough place to win for visitors. Also it is a rivalry game so emotions will be running high, and it is up to our young team to manage those emotions and use them in a way that is beneficial.

If there is one game that can save Fulmer some time with his job, it is this one, and he is going to pull out all of the stops in order to win this game. While the Vols are not up to par this season, they are still a team that you must take seriously...if we don't they will beat us.

I've said before, if we play our game for 60 minutes, we can beat ANY team in the country. If we continue "riding the brake" or whatever you want to call it in the 2nd half, it's going to catch up to us. Do I think UT will beat us? Hell no. Do I think we could lose to UT? Hell yes.

I don't think UT has a very potent offense but this will be their national championship so who knows what they will bring out!

Bama only a 5 point fav.....that worries me a bit :?

I thought it woudl be just over a td like 8 or so

I am absolutely counting on emotions being high! The one thing that Bama has shown this year is that in emotionally charged games they come to play. Atleast in the first half they do. Both Clemson and Georgia were very big stage emotional games and they came out and absolutely busted them in the mouth, repeatedly. I'm only concerned about a second half let down because I would like to see us score 50! I don't think Tennessee has anything for us this year unless we give them an awful lot of help.

I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of people are predicting a upset in this one.
