Models for the last few days have been pointing to a hurricane forming and hitting somewhere along the Gulf Coast at the end of the week... thus far, the models have only gained confidence (in terms of there being a hurricane), though it's still early on the when/where/strength. But there is at least a reasonable chance that a tropical system might impact the Bama v. UGA game as of now. Just a heads up for those that haven't seen or heard about it yet, and those traveling to the game from out of town. In the next few days, it's likely to start making some headlines.

The good news is, while it's still a crapshoot, the latest models are trending further east (and sooner in some cases)...

It is tracking further east and being on the west side of it is a good sign the weather won't affect TTown. UGA may have some travel issues though, unless they leave early.

They are expecting this to hit tomorrow so by game time it should be cleared up.

As far as schools in the path. This is a bye week for the gators. FSU has a game in Texas tomorrow. How those two campuses will fare is anyone’s guess .
