Game moved up an hour to 5 tonight.

Some good news/bad news.... Good news, after making his first appearance of the season in relief last weekend at Arkansas, Garrett McMillan is back in the starting role tonight (as mentioned in the preview post). They'll have to build up his pitch count some, but Bama needed him back. Unfortunately, the bad news is, they now lose Ben Hess who was 4-0 as a starter (7 GS) for what looks like it could be several weeks (injury). They can't afford another frontline injury while Hess is on the shelf... They really needed the depth of 4 quality weekend starters headed into this part of the schedule.

Bama down 2-0 after 1. McMillan threw 37 pitches in the 1st, well more than half what I'd imagine he'll be allowed to throw today. Not ideal. Personally, not a fan of UA's batting order again today, but hopefully it won't matter... they should score a few regardless.

In other games, auburn held on to beat A&M 10-9. auburn bullpen is not good and has been causing them issues all year. A&M should have tied it in the 9th with a chance to win, but their guy channeled his inner Sid Bream rounding 3rd, then made a horrible slide (he beat the throw to the plate), yet still managed to get tagged out a split second before touching the plate. So, auburn won and evened the series 1-1... they are playing 2 today, so game 3 coming up shortly.
