🏈 Game Week: Alabama vs. UL Monroe (press conferences, news updates, & discussion) ***Update- DL Jeremiah Beamon injured, out for season***

Yoo drop the name and location. I'll be in Atlanta soon.

For sure. Y'all will hopefully love the name. The Capstone. Buildout is starting and we should be open in November. Kind of a clean, but cheap logo. If anyone knows a good logo designer, please let me know.

@TerryP got a lane always dedicated to you so you can come work on that church league softball swing.

Ha ha, yes, I am. I expect everyone on here to bring their kids to Atlanta to hit, no matter what the drive is. Support one of the pain in the asses on RollTideBama.

I've pondered the idea of doing something like that in Northport, but fairly recently someone started one up in Tuscaloosa and I doubt there's room for 2. I do know these little league parents all think they are raising the next Mike Trout and pour a shit ton on money into this stuff, and I want to be the the baseball version of Scrooge McDuck who bleeds them dry on everything from batting cage rates to stupid ass EvoShield sliding mitts.

AI can do logos. Doe has done a few in his time as well.

There is a room for two, but the key is what service you'll be offering that Trump's the other business.

Maybe include a gym for kids next to battling case and offering monthly services... That includes one on one sessions with add ons.

Same here. We want these kids trained and ready to play ball. Too many parents aren't working with their kids, giving them the time, and most have no clue how to play anyways, so we are going to offer training, analytics and space for fielding, hitting, pitching, and catching for softball and baseball. Gonna also do speed and agility training.

And there is the issue. Even some of the coaches I've seen are either clueless or worse, don't have the kid's best long term interest in mind.

Not an overreaction to expect high level performance when you spend high level money.

If I asked you to build the website for my new hitting facility and you cost more than the average quotes I received I fully expect a better than average product.
If ABC Inc. decides to pay Joe Football too much money for his production it somehow unleashes criticisms because now they are getting paid?

Which players were costing UA more than average? It sure seems to me like you're confusing what ABC Inc. is doing and what UA as doing.

This line of demarcation "they are getting paid..." ... just doesn't 'jive' with my view.

You get paid to do a job, you better produce or you get criticized. What if we stopped paying them because they had a bad game, they would transfer. There is no difference here in my desire to get production for my money, and for them to get paid for their work. Although they moat likely don't care about the product as long as they get paid. The point I'm making is we both want something for our efforts

By the way, Yea Alabama never returned any messages through email or Instagram.

A playoff team last season. A front runner this season.

That's a standard people are pointing to here, is it not?

Personally, I'm getting as tired of this Bama Standard line as I did/have with comparisons of Oats and Wimp.

It's not the same game. It's not the same people. It's certainly not the same worlds shared between these guys now and those a decade ago.

I talked with Coach Gabe about this off and on over the summer. You know what he said I'm left with?

"Wait 'til you see this next generation."
Bama standard just means playing at an elite level because of who you are and how you prepare. Nothing magical other than it ends with results on the field with W's almost all the time regardless of the circumstances. It espeically shows up in big games and does not let down when you are a double digit favorite

With that said the standard is not just making it to the playoff but it is winning more NC games than you lose by a large margin.

It is also about how your character which shows up in how you prepare and how you present your self. High character with high competitive character.
