There's a chance this will be a good football day even with the Tide taking some rest.

If the good Lord is looking kindly upon me today he'll grant some good laughs for the early game—UT vs UGA. A UGA loss provides the best storyline for UT's season and the twist it'll put in the talking points for who wins the east?

Vandy v Kentucky: meh.
South Florida vs Wisconsin. Hrrmm.
What does Indiana do today hosting Maryland?

Afternoon game: Eyes will be on UArk and the Aggies but if you drift around don't forget Stanford at Washington—there's potential for a game here.

I think I'm going to go bet some of my BamaBucks on Auburn to cover...

I'll close the night with Cincy and Ohio State...the idea of watching Mizzou turns my stomach, no need to tire of Ole Miss too quickly (knowing how badly some of you guys are going to fret next week,) and the LSU game won't tell anyone, anything.

A collection of 10 facts and stats, streaks and feats looking ahead to Saturday's SEC football games.:

0 Times Auburn and Louisiana Tech have failed to score when reaching the red zone this season. Louisiana Tech visits Auburn on Saturday. The Tigers have scored all 14 times they've reached their opponent's 20-yard line. The Bulldogs are 11-for-11 on red-zone opportunities. This is the second straight game that Auburn's opponent comes in perfect in the red zone. Kansas State was 12-for-12 before scoring twice in five red-zone chances against the Tigers last week.

1 SEC West team isn't ranked in this week's AP poll - Arkansas. The Razorbacks were tied for 37th in the voting, well outside the top 25 with nine points. Arkansas' Saturday opponent, Texas A&M, came in at No. 6 in this week's poll. The other SEC West teams in the poll are Alabama at No. 3, Auburn at No. 5, Ole Miss at No. 10, Mississippi State at No. 14 and LSU at No. 17.

Another random thought of the morning...

If I've got this correctly, Kentucky currently holds the longest conference losing streak in the SEC. I know the last game they won was in 2011 and it was against UT. I'm pretty sure they've lost 17 in a row.

Let's suppose UK beats Vandy today. That would mean Arkansas would then hold the longest conference losing streak in the SEC. Arkansas, a team I've heard a dozen or more say should be ranked in the top 25.

This day has the feeling that something funky is going to happen...hope it's football related.

3rd down conversion percentage. TN D came in ranked in top three...today, what's UGA's 3rd down conv. %?

Our's is good on defense and offense, passing and rushing...strongest aspect of the team, IMO.
