| FTBL Game Thread: Mississippi State vs Alabama...

I think McElwain needs to run a draw. If we are gonna end up running on third down, might as well have Coffee running it instead of Wilson.

I can see that.

Even if it's incomplete, a long route or two too stretch their backfield a bit. They are playing everything in front of them.

At this point, I'd say take the short flat and let the guys make plays.

All in all, not surprised how their D is playing.

Well that fast start I was hoping for hasn't happened. :?

What is it with Miss. State? They bring it when they play Alabama - that is for sure.

Roll Tide! Let's get back to our strength.

Not sure whats worse...our passing game or running...We cant run against their front 4...not good..especially for a #1 team. JPW is getting happy feet...really not good.

What are the odds?

One of our receivers OTHER than Julio Jones manages to get open tonight?

I'm not exactly thrilled with our offense right now considering what last week, and the rest of the schedule looks like from here on out. Not confident to say the least. BAMA seems to be settling right into their old ways on offense.

Well...so far, they want to win more than our boys want to win...they are more physical on the lines...

Yep so far nothing has changed vs. State.

They're not the least bit intimidated by us, and we look shell shocked. How in the world did we get so turned around on that pass coverage???

I hear ya. The last two years we were DJ Hall happy, this year, we're Julio happy. When was the last time we threw to Nick Walker?

Last week.

Two more seconds and Smelley was WIDE OPEN coming across the middle on that last play. I could tell he was the primary receiver too. :?
