I'm not asking he come in and be the next Saban, I don't think anyone will recreate what he did for a very long time. All I ask for in a head coach is that he get our guys ready to play every week at a high level, disciplined, fundamentally sound every snap, our communication be on point pre snap, just don't let us be unprepared for a game like we were Saturday, or against Oklahoma, Vandy, or Michigan. That's the shit that I can't stand man, coming into a game and looking completely lost the entire game. Not knowing their calls, gap assignments, blocking assignments, etc... Just beating yourself before you can even win the game. And have our guys play with enough heart that they don't fucking quit mid play. There's a ton more id talk about, but I'd be here a long time.
And I get he concern if hiring coordinators as your head coach, but recently that trend has been paying off. Won't for everyone, but I'd be willing to give Schumann the chance. And if I didn't think he's get it done, I wouldn't even bother saying his name.
