🧑‍🍳 Favorite Beers thread

Hey if anyone is looking for cider, Woodchuck has a sample case out now (I'm in PA, we buy by the case) and it has 4 kinds, they are all fantastic. I'm trying to limit my wheat/grain intake for health reasons, so I've been drinking hard cider instead if my favorite Blue Moon; love it. This Woodchuck is better than the Angry Orchard I've had at my local bar.

Most gluten free beers taste horrible, but I have a friend who found a brand she really likes. I'll find out and post back.

If I drink ever I drink small craft beers that are made by local small breweries, depending on the state I'm in.

I drink Jameson if I'm drinking whiskey or something like that, but mostly I drink different types of wine. Found wine goes better with cigars, so wine it is mostly

Amen! Ditto here. I can't drink macro anymore, it just all tastes like piss anymore. My favorite beers are Flying Fish, Victory, Troegs, Stone, and Ommegang. I love going to tastings at the smaller joints, they are very personalized and chill.

Shiner Black has been my go-to for the last little while.

Shiner Bock's a standard for me, particularly if it's going to be a long day at the lake or full evening of live music/concert and some pacing is in order. Otherwise, I usually default to IPAs like Sweetwater IPA, Goose Island IPA, Terrapin Hopsecutioner or Dogfish Head 60 Minute.

Went to Atlanta and ate at that smokers BBQ downtown. Had a craft beer called the blondie. It was pretty damn good

Next time over, seek out Fox Brothers over in Decatur. They have a "hamburger" that is really a chopped brisket sandwich with thick slices of bacon and homemade pimento cheese. Crazy good.
