I agree. For the effort it requires, especially coming out, there’s better places.

I loved my Vasque Sundowners. These are actually made by the same company that made the original Sundowners in Italy.
They are Alico and the only place I can find them is Sierra Trading Post.
Excellent leather boots.

I love Sierra Trading Post. I bought from them back in the late 80's, early 90's out of that plain catalog they'd send out, always last year's colors and patterns, which mattered not one bit when you're out hiking. I still have a comfortrel long sleeve shirt I bought from them, and a thermax t-shirt I bought from Campmor, over thirty years ago.

The only reason I went back is because I was getting ready for a trip out west. Hiked there and fiery gizzard but still wasn't ready for idaho.
