I normally take three bicycle rides a day. I've got a few routes, all of them by a wooded lot where a guy named William lives. I've been watching him for about six weeks now. But, when I knew it was about to turn cold? I didn't see him anywhere. How am I supposed to tell him, "if you walk four miles over there you can be warm tonight?" I could easily give, or arrange, a ride. I suppose I could...text him?

Here's a thought I had this morning.

A lot of the billboards have gone digital with rotating ads. Why don't we see the warming shelters advertised on those?
