Doubt it with the satellite offering, generally they want to lock customers in a 1 year+ agreement. What I was referring to, DirecTV Now is their streaming only service. There is no subscription, you activate/cancel...same with SlingTV. But they've bundled into that platform as well, so you'd have to cut streaming entirely to get rid of ESPN.

So now we're back to a-la-carte and I doubt they offer that because the non-sport fan isn't gonna sign up for $8+/month ESPN option.

Sling has an option of getting no sports channels doesnt it?

Getting the news yesterday that one of the casualties was veteran Mark May was kinda sad. He was pretty much pro-Bama throughout his time with the network. I don't have a dog in this pissing contest, but Soros is Hungarian and did not escape Nazi Germany since he didn't live there. His family changed their name from Schwartz to Soros to sound more Christian during the Nazis' rage against Jews but they never left Hungary. He emigrated to England after the war.

Just wondering, how many of these 12 million viewers that have left the premises have returned on the internet package? Just wondering how they are counted against that total figure? Obviously, if they are simply doing without cable it's a lot bigger than ESPN. There are as many movie fanatics, if not more, out there who just have to have the movie tier. Are they too just as responsible for cord cutting and how many of them have simply re-upped at Hula/Netflix?
