For those of you who have the ESPN.COM "VIP pass", enjoy. But for those of us just window-shopping these pieces, ESPN has aired some "Love to See That One" games, and BAMA VS. BOISE is the lead off match up.

Other than playing at a neutral site season kickoff game like we have been in Atlanta and will do in Dallas, is there a scenario where Bama would end up on the Blue Turf in Idaho?

I don't like catching these aspiring teams right off, as having all off-season to tailor you team for one game is not an option that we (or any other SEC team) has the luxury of doing.

Would/Could a neutral site game within the season be possible, or for that matter be better?

Catching them in a Bowl game is where every SEC team dreams to catch them, but then we run into the issue of having our best teams (the ones we want to play them) matched up in meaningful match ups...ones that Boise can't get itself invited to. Catch 22 for them I guess.

Anyone for a package deal? Having three SEC team offering Boise games in the south, in the same year? If Boise wants to "answer the questions", even going 2-1 @ BAMA, @ LSU, and @ FLorida would do it don't you think?

I think I've said this before, I'd like to see their entire OOC schedule have an SEC name beside it - and not go big like Ohio State is and schedule Vandy...

schedule the schools who hold the last 5 national championship.

Why would we want to play them on that hideous blue turf. No financial gain for us, no important new recruiting territory would open up. Neutral site would be fine, or a bowl game.

Why the he!! not in T-town?!?!? Let's see how the smurfs do in front of 100,000+ not the 33,500 they got on that ridiculous blue turf. Neutral would be fine but would prefer T-town.

Also, as some others have said - NOT the first game of the season which is how they have tripped up other teams. Needs to be mid-season and I would love to see them play at least two SEC schools within a month.

Bama does not have to go play the wannabe's of the NCAA at their places. I'd love to see it, any where and any time and any place just to shut their mouths and the commentators. It's just not going to happen in Idaho. First game, last game... it really doesn't matter.
