🏈 Doing a test tonight

Terry and myself have been working on trying to keep spam from getting into the site the best we can, I am trying something new tonight so please let me know if you are getting any errors. I know it was popping up a few minutes ago but it is cleared up on my end now

What I did was add a custom question in while registering for the site that they have to answer, the question is who is your favorite sports team?

What it will do is let us know if the person is real or not by the answer, most spam will not know what to do with that and put their username or a website

Anyway new members are going into a users waiting for moderation and we will approve them as quick as we can
We are working on a few other things as well behind the scenes so we are ready in 38 days and good to go with no interruption :hyper:

Lance, I've decided even some bots are stupid.

Back-story.

I've always thought of trolls the same way, stupid. I had one guy I dealt with years ago that after he was banned continued to re-register. I'm not talking twice or three times, we're talking numbers in the 20's or 30's. At that time I could see the passwords members were using and this fella continued using the same three letters, same four numbers.

I tell you that because of this. We had one last night from Sweden hit the site again. Same username, just changed the last digit: 001, to 002, to 003, etc. As soon as I saw it caught last night I said to myself, "Stockholm, Sweden." Sure enough...
