Hmmm, am I the only one that never likes DJ on return duty? He's very capable (that's not the problem) but also becomes very vulerable.

Ah yes, I’m getting started early folks!

How on this green earth can Brown and Hall be suspended, yet Deaderick and Fanney get to suit up? What could they have done that was worse than being arrested? I’m just curious. It would seem to me that those bringing public shame to the UofA would be the ones to get suspended.

I was wondering the same thing, add Upchurch with those two also.

I would rather someone else return kicks besides Hall also.

From what he has said before, and kind of hinted at today, it is more of a case of him wanting to discipline players (correction of actions), not punish them. However, if they do not respond to the "correction" method, punishment (e.g. game suspensions) will follow.

Isn't Upchurch spending his time on the Scout team?

Javi backing up Rashad at FS is a suprise. No Justin Woodall. Also, I figured J. Lowe would be in on KR.All in all looks pretty good to me. Now lets do this thing!!!

As Lowe gets more reps, he will move into the back-ip roll I think. I could even see him replacing Hall as KO return man soon.

Arenas and Sharrief have both come on like gang busters at safety. They both still need a lot of reps, but Saban is obviously pleased with them. As for Woodall, I really missed the mark on him. I though he'd be a starter by now... he seems to really be having a tough time.

wow. some surprises. i guess Jimmy is back at Tailback and Nick Walker took the starting TE spot back. good for him. i played against him in high school. and wow at Eric Gray slipping all the way to 3rd corner behind Simeon & Marquis Johnson. i always thought Gray would compete with Mitchell on the other side. dang. looks like DJ is gonna be returning kicks with Javier? okay, interesting. Mike McCoy def. has a shot at doing something big. if he comes up big against West Carolina he might just take that starting spot opposite of DJ Hall from Keith Brown. same for Rolando.

Based on the way he handled the discipline issues at Mich. St. and at LSU, he'll wait until the cases are resolved in court before making a judgement on suspending the players. At least, that's been his MO in the past.
