Personally, all this needs to just stop. I dont care if the guy lied about a girlfriend, I dont care if he even won the heisman. End result, Bama whipped them into submission, Killed off Notre Dame in one quarter, and made them a laughing stock in a BCS Championship game. All this does now is ruin a young mans life in short term. Hope he learned his lesson, hope Notre Dame continues to show up in Championship games against us cause we owe them some more Beat-downs, and hope Te'o does well in the NFL. I harbor no ill will towards the guy.

This was one of the early rumors floating around the internet the day the deadspin info came out .. Everyone disregarded it then, but it makes a lot of sense now that we know about the phone record evidence. How could he not know who he was talking to .. ?

Couric interview was on TV at my work .. Did anyone else catch it? Te'o's smirk the whole time really irritated me. If I found out the 'love of my life' who 'tragically died' was a hoax, I would not be smiling while talking about it .. Here is a compilation/mix of what some sports sites are saying/posting about it:

^^ I thought he found out about a month or so before we did .. ?

Also, there are still several holes in the story about the GF visiting him in Hawaii. This was not addressed at all by either party.
