Yep. I mentioned in another thread... overall, how may college athletes (and pro) have had Covid-19 at this point? A ton. How many have been seriously ill, much less died from it? Zero, that I'm aware of? College football is filled with inherent risks, from broken bones, to CTE, to being paralyzed, to yes, even death. It's really easy to spot those who are politicizing this and those who simply lack intelligence. It's almost always the former though.

Saw this earlier today and it warmed my cold heart. Not the tweet or story itself, it’s just a lazy click bait piece used to stir shit up (evidenced by the fact that al.com had the same story late this week). No, what warmed my heart were the 3 replies from non-Bama fans. Usually you can see a tweet like this about Saban building a house for a family through Nick’s Kids, and half the replies will still be ripping him for some reason or another. But even with the fattest of worms on the hook, all CFT did was lose their line.

Often times they definitely go hand in hand. Sometimes though they aren't mutually exclusive, and that's on both sides.

As of Friday, masks have been mandated in the county for all indoor public spaces. The business will get fined, not the individual. Applicable to all over 12 years old.

Unless the county is going to put cops at the door of every place and refuse entry to anyone without a mask this is garbage. We have already had a security guard in Michigan killed by someone who took offense to being told to put on a mask or leave. Unless cops are going to protect my employees I would tell them not to even try to enforce it past asking nicely.

If I go to the hospital with say...TB. And, find out that I've tested positive but I die from TB..that rightfully belongs in the CV death toll? I'm not sure what you're driving at here.

I'm masking up. Its easy, while I don't agree with it what choice do I have? Sure, I can refuse and put myself and others at the business in a tough spot. But its just not worth the fight.

I'm tired of WFH. I've always needed the physical separation of work and home.

I have been WFH primarily for at least a decade. The last 3 years 100%. People always talk about how it must be nice and I always mention how hard it makes separating home from work. The one good thing about the shutdown was how many people suddenly realized how hard it can be.

I've done it on and off for 20 years. 100% WFH is just not my thing.

That's why I LOVE my flex schedule. I'm still in office, but as you know, at night when no one else is there.

I don't ever want to go back to an office. As rough as it is to keep things separate (my current employer gets this and is very adamant about helping us do it) I enjoy the flexibility. As long as I can track 8 hours of work a day and cover what is needed, I can do it however I want without a commute. The only thing I miss right now is having an actual office. I now have 5 adults in a 4 bedroom house so my bedroom doubles as my office. Covid is causing my oldest daughter hell in finding a job in her field (her summer teaching gig was cancelled and every position she applied for in the fall school session was cancelled) so I get the feeling it will be at least another year before it happens.

Difference here for me and why I also want to be in a physical office.

1. Drive to work daily with wife.
2. Run errands while in town during the week - groceries, shopping, etc.

Spend my weekends enjoying the outdoors, the property, and working on my to-do list.

There is a reason I moved to Montana.
