I wonder how they'd react if they were asked about Henry Jarvis Raymond's support of slave owners?

Or Biden supporting Senator Byrd from West Virginia. At least be fucking consistent with the messaging. Don't have to dig too deep into Senator Byrd's past.

most racist-republicans are (e.g. Dotard).

Im not republican. I have always worked too much to be interested in it. The is more than a little information out there that suggests black people are the most racist group in America. I will leave it to your fevered mind to figure out the least racist group.

I caught an article the other day where a respected genealogist did a tiny bit of digging and cross referencing ships manifests. Ol’ Joes great great grandfather was a slave broker. Not just an owner, a broker.

In general, a positive antibody test is presumed to mean a person has been infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, at some point in the past. It does not mean they are currently infected.

Antibody test can be very inaccurate. It can identify antibodies to many corona viruses, including the common cold.

However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.

The amount of sports media blue checks on Twitter who act both shocked and irritated about the Stanford news on Twitter is somewhat humorous. Many of these same people have been actively rooting for shutdowns at every level of society. You can argue their intentions, but you can't ignore that those wishes to "shut it down" would have dire consequences on everything from your local watering hole to Stanford University athletics. Can't have it both ways, and if you act surprised at the consequences then you're just outing yourself as an idiot at best or a disingenuous hack at worst.

Personally, I think its awful that Stanford is having to cut anything. I don't care about squash unless it's fried, but we're talking about a couple hundred plus student athletes and a bunch of coaches who just had the rug pulled out from under them. It's not surprising, but it's also not good.

The number I read was 240 student athletes. 11 sports? At least, 22 coaches along with a few GA's.

I fell bad for them. If/when The Athletic folds because there's no sports to cover and people get tired of their MSNBC style blogging articles, then I won't feel bad for the likes of them (other than Andy Staples maybe).
