As soon as one state hit the you must close again button this was inevitable. Not sure why we are not acknowledging at least one contributor to the increased numbers is protesters, rioters and looters. Seems like they are getting a free pass. Not saying you should not protest but there are consequences to doing so during a pandemic. I am also not saying that is the only reason the number of cases has grown.

BTW, I also see where although the number of cases has risen, the number of deaths has not. Maybe more/better testing?
 
I didn't understand the toilet paper rush the first time and I really don't get it now. These panic buyers have already been through this. So, if nothing else, shouldn't they at least have an idea of what to expect now? Did they use up all the TP that they bought in March? Does quarantining cause people to shit more?

It would be racist to say that. My oldest daughter decided she just had to go to one of the protests. She had to go stay with her mom for 2 weeks and get a clean test before she could come back home. I have an older person with COPD living here and can't risk that junk.
 
I read a blurb somewhere that a big portion of the uptick in numbers is for antibodies. Meaning they may have had it, they had it, they were exposed to it but never had the illness. I’m convinced it’s an attempt to panic and tank the economy prior to the election. Win at all costs. We had Covid, we had riots (preplaned waiting for a trigger event), time to hit us again. There will be another incident and the riots will start again. I have been listening to crickets about the 14 murders in Chicago over the weekend.

CDC did mix numbers and cause some serious problems in tracking with that. I believe they have since corrected their numbers, but the media may not have followed suite.
