My fear with Charlie Strong is that he might end up on the list of coaches like Mike Stoops and Bo Pelini . Great DCs of the 2000s, whose tactics are antiquated.
Nothing "confirmable" but that seems to be the feeling. Last night during the show it was noted he said, "If I'm not at the game Saturday."

Tested negative more than once, has completed his isolation time, and he's been cleared to travel. But Les Miles says, “There is too much still unknown about this virus for me to feel 100% confident I won’t transmit it to someone who comes into close contact w/me on team charter, hotel or at the game Saturday,”
Can you imagine how pissed he's going to be after have 47 of those spear swabs up in his sinus cavity? Secret weapon.

Right on the nothing is 100%.... been masking since day one...couldn't enter my place of employment if you registered above 99.7 on temperature, get tazed if you were caught without a mask or went outside your assigned area without a mask, faceshield and gloves....wore a mask everytime I was in public which was rare....still tested positive....NCAA not letting Saban coach from remote is bullshit.

Failure to adapt is a death blow to a career in any field but especially in big time coaching. Strong may need to step down to lower level schools ............or come to perhaps learn from the best about organization, time management, data collection and analysis,etc.

Why would we handicap ourselves as a conference if the NZAA doesn’t require it? Any coach could have isolation at the game.
I don't know how it's written, or when, much less why. It's something about the wording and the box. I haven't taken the time to read about the story in detail.
