🏈 Crazy thing happened today

I'm 5'3. My boyfriend is 6'3 and is exactly a head taller

I'm wondering if the terminology of "wide receiver" is complicating matters, like how he identified then/how he was used versus how WRs are identified now.
 
The term WR does make it harder. Hard to tell exactly how tall he is from the picture, but at least 6'3". That would not help much with today's players, but an end (or any player) that tall wasn't common in 1962. We may have narrowed it down a bit.
 
Yea there was no wide receivers in 62. They were a tight end or end.

Gary Martin could be him, but he was from Dothan AL and he was a half back from 60 through 63. He was 5'10 Sure looks like him
 
See I'm wondering if he WAS originally from NY but moved down for scholarship opportunities/offers. It wasn't unheard of then for a guy to move to play for a high school close by/in-state to a school who wanted him.
