Summerall just made a comment wreaking of ignorance.

As the Ole Miss band played Dixie Chorale, the players are coming back onto the field. Summerall said "I am not sure they approve of that, but the players are coming back for the trophy presentation."

Ignorance and bigotry against the South. Dixie has NOTHING to do with ANY negative connotations other than those that have been manufactured by idiots with anti-Southern bias. They despise anything that southerners identify with and desire to take away our identity.

Well, let's see. You have two comparable conferences. And from one conference you have the clear third best team competing in its home state against arguably the fourth or fifth best team from the other conference.

Ole Miss might be lucky to hold Tech under 40. By halftime. Especially given their propensity to turn the ball over.

As an aside. You know you are getting old when you see the MOTHER of a player in the game and the first thing that crosses your mind is 'Wow, she is a young hottie.' Damn.

great call there buddy lmao

Amen!

I'm kinda wondering now just how good Texas is considering the fact TT beat them and now they lose to ole sis. I'm kinda scratching my head a little bit.

Amen and amen! Dixie was one of Pres. Lincoln's favorite songs and had it played at his inauguration.

Hey, I got aggravated at Summerall and his cohort for continuing to refer to Ole Miss as "the Hogs." They also called a shovel pass by Tech as its best running play of the day. Running play? Summerall seems to be losing it a bit.

I had come back to mock myself. So happy you beat me to it. In my defense however, when I posted that comment Tech was pretty much having their way with Ole Miss. (Toss me a crumb, okay.)

About the only 'call' I got right without exception was that the mother of the Tech QB is a hottie.

Good vibes that a middling SEC offense hung almost half a C-note on a once beaten Big 12 South Co-Champion. And swap a TD for the Safety when the Rebels fumbled on the two and they would have hit the 50-point mark. Ole Miss defense did pretty good too, considering that last TD was in a near prevent scheme.

I really thought the relentless nature of the Tech offense would wear down the Ole Miss defense. Looks like just the reverse happened.
