Would 10-2 be considered a successful season if we only use the record? Is it all about he CFP now and what the team does when they get there? To me the Bama standard is higher than that BUT these are different times. It would certainly be an improved record from CKDs first year. Now if one of those losses is Vandy or Vandy like teams it is not a successful year.

On the surface yes, but I’d need to see how it all plays out. Is it 2 close losses to teams like UGA and LSU? Or does the team revert back to ‘24 and no show against teams like Missouri and South Carolina? Does the team improve, get worse, or stay the same as the season wears on?

But overall, with this schedule, 10-2 sounds pretty good.

Yeah it matters how they play in any losses and who it is to. No shows against anyone would not be acceptable.... Of course lots can change as the season progresses and as you say as the season wears on. Consistency at a high level is my expectation for success.

No problem. As soon as the new editor drops that might change a bit: the structure will still be there.

Bookmark is good with me, hadn't knowingly used it before even though it showed i had some book marks.
