I am extremely proud of ALL of our guys---the players, coaches, and assistants. None of the prognosticators thought we'd finish better than third in the West this year. Nobody picked us to win 12 games and beat Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and Auburn. Yeah, they lost a tough game to the Gators (whose quarterback is a Heisman winner), but they were definitely overachievers.

These guys have been through several coaching changes, and all kinds of adversity. But they held their heads up, never lost their poise, and they went out and handled their business. They have definitely bought into Saban's program.
