He also threw in a bit about this being the University of Alabama and a game like this being an embarassment to our tradition.

Anyone Else Listen to Coach Saban's Post Game Comments?

Despite the tailspin, I am very grateful that he is our coach!

Sounds like there were distractions all week, but Coach Saban steps up and takes responsibility again for not getting the team turned around.

He summarized things up pretty well: "It's did what they did, but what Alabama did not do."

I think he needs to be given free rein to throw guys off the team if they have a poor attitude. He may need to clean house, to some extent. We have some good guys on the team, but not enough. Not yet.

In the end, this falls on the coaching staff. Saban said that himself.

With that said, our players have a problem. Is it mental? What is it?

I want to hear some thoughts on this. Please try not to rant though. We all feel the same way about this loss.

We don't have a winning attitude. We have a losing attitude. You have to be taught to win. Our Juniors and Seniors have not been exposed to winning, and it shows. I really thought we had turned the corner, I guess not.

I also didn't like hearing about the arguing in the locker room last week. We are not playing as a team right now. I don't want to hear about not having the players and lack of depth. That is a bunch of crap. We are not a tough mental football team. Period.

Alabama should never lose a game like this.

I'm not saying any names, we have a player with a major problem. We have more then one player, but this is a player the team depends on.

How to fix it, I couldn't tell you. I also don't make 4 million dollars to figure it out. :wink:

It's not hard to see what goes on during the week and how the team comes out in warm ups if they are mentally ready for the game.

They came out flat. I'm sure it was easy to see.

It's hard to get up when your team is getting it handed to them by a cupcake. They could have kept the boos to themselves, but other than that I understand why the fans were flat.
