After listening to Coach talk it up i'm pumped to see what the new line is going to be like. But i got me thinking....What are our bigest concerns on offense? Is DJ ready to go at LT? How good is the line really going to be? We've got more depth there.... Greg can be more effective on his feat than on his @ss. The guy's never lost a game as a starter....can he keep it up? Caoch says he's gotten even better. If he goes down is AJ or Philip ready? Who's taking over the number 4 spot on the chart since Star is leaving? How can we get Maze the ball more? Is this the year that Julio breaks out hard? Will we have a 2nd deep threat on the other side of Julio to help open him up?
How will the RB duities be split up between Mark and Trent?

all questions that will be answerd in only a 100 days or so.
Hot damn we're almost in the season! i'm just giddy! lol

I hope Fluker is ready, that guy is too huge and too talented not to have on the field. He did get beat some at A-Day but look who he was facing: #57.

I think AJ is ready if Greg goes down but hopefully we wont have to find out.

I really, honestly think Julio is going to have a huge season this season. Teams have to worry about #4 and #15 as well plus we have a slew of huge receivers otherwise as well.

As far as the backs go. Lacey is def. gonna take up the slack that Roy leaves. I don't think Ingram will be anywhere near the Heisman talk by mid-season for no other reason than he and Richardson will be splitting carries pretty equally. I look for both guys to get 1,000+ yards and 10+ TDs this season. Defenses have got to be FRIGHTENED.

Julio will continue to be in a tough spot. We are even better at RB, which implies fewer passing plays for him to succeed. With the ability to pop off 5-6 yards each hand off, the obvious passing plays will be of such long distance that Julio's deep threat potential becomes the #1 threat. That means the Defense will aim to stop Julio at all costs. Those plays that he may see single coverage will be obvious running plays, so Bama will have to play against its own strength to use Julio when he has the best chance to shine.

Just looking at numbers, Maze may have the best improvement. Julio will still go high in the draft because he does so much unsung. It ain't sexy, but it wins games.:td:

But see that's exactly where you utilize Julio. You're talking about those 5 or 6 yard pops where Julio may be in single coverage, why not send Julio deep a few times on those obvious running downs and let him get a 60 yard catch? Makes more sense to me in the scheme of things. And damn sure keeps the defense honest. Do we put 8 in the box and stop that run and pretty much guarantee single coverage on the arguably best WR in the nation?
