🏀 Coach Avery Johnson with a message for the fans.

We had a GC in the old Ryan's location (after Ryan's moved to Skyland/69) on 15th, but they closed down about 8 or so years ago. Then Ryan's goes belly-up last year.
I've been there more times than I can count. When I was still renting in T-town (can't think of what the name of the apts were...behind the old Harvey's that's now a Buffalo Wild Wings) it was a hop skip and a jump for a decent breakfast.

Texas Roadhouse has a decent steak.

There's something about throwing peanut shells on the floor that...welp, it's about like throwing empty beer cans under the porch, I guess? It's just...weird to me.

See, there's a difference in Texas Roadhouse and Logan's.

At TRH, they give you a second bucket to discard the shells into.

Santa Fe is like that too, my wife will give you the stare if you throw your peanut hulls on the floor instead of on a plate. Weirdly enough she lived with her brother for several years and he throws his beer cans under the porch :rolf:

To avoid one of the highways a mile or so from here there's a cut through that's turned residential now. Years ago there was an old cinder block house that had a pile of old beer cans thrown outside the front porch. 'Bout every month and a half you'd see them clean up, bag after bag, and it starts again.

Hey. The yard was always cut. Clean place. Except.

Now, take that image and ask me if I want a steak.

Yyyyeaaaah.

Still not following the correlation between THAT and peanuts. Lol.

A few years back me and my wife moved in together for the first time, her brother and his girlfriend were looking for a place so we all went in together to rent a house... I noticed the throwing the cans under the porch bullshit and ended up getting my dad to make a nice, big bin out of chicken wire for his cans. Made it real easy so he could just load it up in his truck when it got full and take it to the metal guy... Yeah, he still threw em under the porch....

Peanut shells all over the floor. Beer cans piled beside, or under, the porch. Neither situation makes me comfortable (and the last example I only drove by, SLO.)

Different, but similar, analogy. Downtown on The Market there's a Bubba Gump's that is a favorite for all the tourist. I've seen people get a kick out of the pigeons who roam freely around their outside tables while people are eating. Pigeons.
To me, it's unappetizing to see shells everywhere around me. It's, well...it comes across as trashy to me--almost akin to having white tablecloths at a Georgia tailgate in Athens.

I'm OCD---Obsessively Clean Diner.

I can't think of any reason Key or Norris should ever play, at least not until they prove something in practice or everyone else comes off the bench and gets ejected. Someone can look it up, but I'd bet a steak dinner that this season Key has more turnovers than points and assists COMBINED. Norris can no longer shoot, defend, or rebound.

If CAJ is still experimenting with lineups with the postseason on the line, and that's what this game meant, then he's not half the coach I thought he was. Winning this game would have been beyond huge.

Got half of it right. Still don't see why Key was in there. But DAAAAAANG! The Tide went off. Where has that been?
