Aight, check this out ... Dabo, Pruitt, et. al. got me thinking.

If Pruitt is indeed hired, it'll mean a Bama alum as a position coach: "a Bama guy." Think about UGA wanting a Georgia guy. Now, think about how long it's been since we've had a position coach that was a Bama alum.

The answer: 2000. And, if memory serves, it was two guys ... one of those, Dabo. (Neil Calloway.)

I don't know if I'm missing something or if you hadn't had your coffee yet when you posted this, but wouldn't the answer to that question be 2012 when Pruitt himself was a position coach at Bama?
