🏈 Buy or Sell? UGA wasn't focused on the game. They were looking ahead knowing they were going to be in the playoffs?

Wait, I have to clean up the water I just spewed all over the floor while reading this…….

There is no way this side of HELL that Georgia (the same Georgia that has had their hearts ripped out by Alabama multiple times) was not focused on this ballgame.

Will the loss help them? To be answered later down the road.

I have said it elsewhere. Losing a game close due to your own internal issues can cause you to refocus and fix things. Losing a game by that much after steamrolling all year can be catastrophic to your morale. It doesn't cause a reset as much as it causes you to question everything.

BTW Guy on Finebaum is saying they win it all by changing to JT Daniels. He can't explain why we did not see Daniels when the game was on the line but he firmly believes that JT Daniels is the missing piece. I also hear others talking about how UGA didn't blitz, with their evidence being no sacks. Some folks didn't watch the game.

Georgia's generational defense is mostly to blame for this game. Stetson was a walkon for a reason. I don't put the loss on his shoulders though. His weapons disappeared.

Georgia was gifted a defensive game plan from LSU and Auburn and the UGA coaches CHOOSE not to use it. Secondary issues?

They were focused. Kirby is shoveling bullshit by the bucket loads.
CNS states similar things when the team is not preparing the right way. Will tell you the teams urgency and attention to detail increases after a loss. With that said I do think they drank the fatal rat poison. This will not be the case going forward so it will likely help them. With that said because of the number of these games that have gone against the puppies it will get in their head if it is not already. As Roman Harper stated Georgia has a Bama problem.

So why do you not think they tried it and Bama had corrected a lot of the problems? I think they blitzed and Bama did much better picking up those blitzes and we all know that with a lack of pass rush the secondary is vulnerable and if this is a weakness it is exposed. Happens to Bama also when we do not get a pass rush.

Not focused my ass. They were overly confident and ready to spank our butts. Maybe they were they were too confident and finally ready to beat us, but saying they weren't focused is BS. One kf my assistant coaches tried saying they didn't blitz and I counted atleast ten times and he said "that wasn't enough". That was thwir excuse for losing. They just can't handle another loss well when all we heard was "undefeated for rhe first time since 1982".

Oh that was the Griffith guy on PF today. He’s been running his mouth all year. He’s nothing but a spinner for jawja.

It wouldn't be the first time that Jawja laid down in a game to improve their Championship aims. Just look at the Jawja game with a* in 2017, they lost to a* 40-17, then pinched their heads off in the SECCG after a* was able to best Bama in the 'Iron Bowl'. Didn't help Jawja though, they still had to contend with Bama in the NC game...hello 2nd and 26:laugh:. Just saying, it wouldn't be the first time.

ROLL TIDE!
