Well, that blown second half hurt the ole wallet. Houston deserves some credit, but Duke gave that one away. Duke is ten points better than Houston, but Proctor going ice cold and then holding the ball instead of getting it to Flagg at the end so he could seal the game was terrible. The worst Free throw shooter on the court kept it and didn't pass to a wide open Flagg.

I think it's Even Miyakawa that uses the term "kill shot" when talking about a team going on a 10 points or more run in a game. A huge percentage of those teams win.

Houston went on a 10-0 run, then closed with an 11-1, right?

A friend sent a text and said he's seen several mention on TI they were hearing Pearl is thinking about stepping away from the job. I don't how much credence I'd give here. He was interested in the UK job. This also makes the second season in a row I've heard about his son taking over.

There's been chatter among the auburn fanbase for a while wad that he might retire, especially if they won it all. Maybe the final 4 is enough, who knows. But supposedly he wants to enjoy being a grandparent sooner than later and do some TV work again. And yes, the stipulation is that he wants the job to go to Steven. Sounds like that's a must.
