If you want to get an idea on where these kids are headed one of the first things you have to do is find out which recruiting agent or agency is representing them. Then, you have your scoop.

If you are a St. Johns fan, what's the point of following recruiting and watching how kids develop through high school into college? Pitino isn't signing any HS kids this year.

If you enjoyed following recruiting, did you enjoy it enough to now enter the "agents world" when in the past you were taking with high school coaches and their "ilk?"

I wouldn't worry about hiring his replacement until Oats get his guys in through the portal. If Oats has someone in mind that's in NBA, then he's likely gonna wait until that team playoff run is over.

Oats is gonna find someone who's gonna run offense well. We don't know who's the candidates yet but we'll hear soon. Be patient. I think it'll be within NBA ranks.

Could be an NBA G-League guy. Someone like Tyler Lashbrook, who is the HC of the Maine Celtics. Used to be in charge of player development of the Boston Celtics.

Of the names mentioned above, I would like to see Reid come back. He did not get the minutes or games that he would have due to injury. Another year in college would do him well.
